 ATP – Atacama Training Program

Three months of study and the creation of a performance that will premiere within Paesaggi del Corpo – International Contemporary Dance Festival.

ATP is a professional training course focused on contemporary dance and the choreographic language of the Atacama company. The 2025 edition will take place during Paesaggi del Corpo – International Contemporary Dance Festival, to which it is closely connected. In addition to the core training phase, which will be held in Rome from Monday to Friday, there will be meetings and workshops with international choreographers from the festival, active participation in creative processes, talks and round tables, and guided viewing of performances. The program will culminate in the creation of a performance that will be presented as part of the festival’s official program.

Description of opportunity:
The international training program was created by Roberto Altamura,
founder of Milano Contemporary Ballet and Milano City Ballet.
The program provides young dancers the necessary tools to complete
their education and increase their potential, stimulating creativity
and curiosity, working on each one’s personal quality and supporting
in finding the most suitable path in the world of dance.
«Since 2015, our goal has been to offer our dancers a
professionalizing experience that could direct them towards the world
of work – claims Roberto Altamura – With this aim, we had different
important collaborations: the re-stage of three repertoire works by
Company Wayne McGregor, until 2018, and then the collaborations with
companies like Vertigo Dance Company and Cie Hervé Koubi and with
artists such as Raza Hammadi, Carolina Mancuso, Roser Lopez Espinosa,
Yin Yue, Jiri Pokorny, Sandra Garcia and Jon Bond, among the others».

Milano Contemporary Ballet is not only a training program: it is a
meeting point of cultures, languages, and experiences.
Internationality characterizes our reality, where Italian, European
and extra-European dancers meet. Milano Contemporary Ballet regularly
hosts and collaborates with students coming from South Korea and
Universities of Singapore.

THE TRAINING
The daily program, lasting 8 months, ranges from ballet technique,
exploited with the goal of training contemporary dancers, to
contemporary and modern techniques, floor work, partnering,
choreographic composition and impro; besides this, the dancers
regularly attend Pilates, biomechanics, anatomy, and movement analysis
classes.
Milano Contemporary Ballet offers the unique opportunity to study and,
at the same time, to increase one’s own knowledge with working
experiences, through the participation in Italian and abroad
festivals, theater performances, events and collaborations with
artists, fashions brands and exponents of exponents of the Italian and
international panorama of music.

SHAKTI INTENSIVE PROGRAMME 

We are proud to present a project that will take place over two weeks of intensive creative development in July and September 2025.

The goal is the creation of two choreographic pieces that will be presented at a renowned festival. We will give more information about it at the subscription. 

During the residency period, auditions will be held for the Shakti collective, winner of the choreographic call for entries in the Danza InModena emerging dance companies section.

7/11 July 2025 

During the week-long July programme, choreographers Federica Sorrentino and Guia Meucci will guide participants through an immersive exploration and development process. The week will be dedicated to creating the choreographic material.

1-5 September 2025

During this week, the creative process will be led by choreographers Anna Viotto and Elke Grigolato.

The week will be enhanced by the training and artistic advice of Roberta Ferrara, founder, artistic director and choreographer of Equilibrio Dinamico also Educational Leader for the programmes training programmes attached to the company and Freelance choreographer and pedagogue.

Participation is open to all interested dancers.

Dancers must apply by sending a video of a solo no longer than two minutes, showing their technical level and aptitude for creative work.The selection will be open to all interested dancers, and will be limited in number to guarantee high quality work and personalised attention.

You must be available for all weeks indicated, as well as the weeks from 3 to 8 November 2025, when the two productions will be staged. 

The purpose of the project is to provide dancers with an intensive learning experience that will help them grow artistically.

The project will stimulate the artistic growth of participants through an intensive learning experience.

The final result will be two performances, the result of two weeks of research work, at the above-mentioned festival. The festival will also host the finalised work of the Shakti collective following the residency obtained in the emerging companies section of the danza InModena dance call.

P.O.S.T. - Performance Oriented Student Transition

This programme is designed by the Berlin Dance Institute to bring dancers closer to the creative process, to give them the opportunity to meet and work with internationally renowned choreographers and to broaden their artistic experience. Through this intensive 5-month process, participants will enhance their technical skills, expand their versatility and immerse themselves in the creative and ever-expanding world of dance. For the P.O.S.T. group in Berlin, two different performances are planned in which the participants can perform and also show their own work, as the programme offers choreographic mentorship and support. immersive and multi-disciplinary program for performer

ANFIBIA is an immersive and multi-disciplinary training project conceived to supply and reinforce both performer’s and creator’s tools alongside.
ANFIBIA’s name already contains an idea of hybridisation and blend between different performative languages; theatre, dance, song, music, circus, drama, performance.
The platform is addressing the artists who are interested in undertaking a path leading through a cross-formation research. The purpose being that of forming adaptive performers, able to scenically cross from one language form to another exposing themselves to a pursuit of a possible independent creative path.
A full-time formation in Performing Art, the duration of which is October 2025 to May 2026.

Every day the participants will switch between practical classes, regarding the use of the body and the voice in its different meanings, and theory classes concerning history and theory of the performative act, organizing and managing skills, with the help of experts specialized in a wide array of disciplines. Moreover, the monthly focuses will bring special guests coming from some of the world’s most important Companies.
Alongside performative teaching, the students will be accompanied by a coach every step of the way on a path aimed at creating their, both individual and group, scenic projects that will be subject to public inaugurations and event participation throughout the year.

The Program

→ The program is composed of a weekly platform with daily classes of contemporary dance, floorwork, acrobatic movement, contact improvisation, acting, drama, singing and vocality for dancers and performers.

→ The program planned seminars such as Dance & Disability with L’Atelier Corpopoetico®, BMC®, HipHop and Urban Dance, Osteopathy for dancers/performers and body conditioning.

→ Furthermore, the program is enriched with additional classes and seminars, for training aspirations and career ambitions, such as as Light Design, scenography and costume and Individual management organization and artistic entrepreneurship.

Art Factory International is a professional intensive training project created by Leggere Strutture Art Factory, a center dedicated to arts and culture in the city of Bologna.
The program focuses on younger dancers eager to broaden and deepen their own technical and artistic training in fields such as dance, choreography and composition.

The program is structured from October 2025 to May 2026 in a intensive months of training , involves daily training from Monday to Friday from 9 am to 3:30 pm in classical and contemporary dance through a teaching plan led by artists and teachers, expert in the field and working towards technique strengthening, along with pursuing a higher level of awareness in regard to one’s physical strength and the creative movement. The training includes a variety of curriculum classes everyday of ballet, contemporary dance, floorwork, counter technique, capoeira, composition, repertoire, improvisation, hiphop and urban dance.
The A.F.I. platform aims at creating a personal formation course where the participant contemplates on constructing and setting in motion the artistic and professional self.

Moreover, the platform is a host to monthly somatic seminars, reasearch, composition and management seminars. The classes will focus on exchange of virtuous practices by drawing from different professionals with the intention of shaping the participant’s personality and competences, as well as broadening the artist’s new training horizons.
The A.F.I. Platform created a performative project within its spaces “Spazio CRUDO”, designed to host projects, previews and work-in-progress by international artists in residency at Leggere Strutture, in addition to accommodating ‘open door’ performances enacted by AFI participants.

GUEST ARTISTS
The platform is a host to monthly workshops featuring Internationally renowned choreographers and artists with focus on widening the attendees’ knowledge and enriching the workshop participants’ experiences, visions and professional competences.

The Junior Ballet Project (JBP), created by the Opinion Public company and based in Brussels, is a multidisciplinary program designed for talented young dancers aged 17 to 25. Inspired by the hybrid style of the company, JBP offers a wide range of disciplines, including classical ballet, contemporary dance, breakdance, partnering, floorwork, acrobatics, and improvisation.
Designed to develop versatility, a unique artistic identity, and preparation for a professional career in contemporary dance, the program provides intensive training, creative experiences, and performance opportunities. It supports participants in excelling at auditions, strengthening their physical and mental resilience, and responding to the demands of the professional dance world with confidence and creativity.

Is proposed as a professional contemporary dance training course directed by the artistic duo Pergallini/Pitarresi.
The aim of the program is to offer an opportunity for study, growth and in-depth study for dancers and performers. It is a path aimed at young adult dancers who have the curiosity to experiment with newlanguages and nourish their artistic, technical and performative background.

Modus Operandi is a multi-year post-secondary program that provides relevant contemporary dance development to 30 aspiring professionals between the ages of 17 and 25. The program takes place in Vancouver, BC on the West Coast of Canada, and is led by co-Artistic Directors Tiffany Tregarthen and David Raymond, and Associate Artistic Directors Kate Franklin and Maiko Miyauchi. 

Modus Operandi welcomes auditions from serious, advanced dancers between the ages of 17 and 25 who seek entrance to the program in September 2025. There are multiple opportunities to audition in person across Canada, or by video:

The intensive is also an audition for the full program, and gives MO directors sustained opportunity to get to know young artists. In parallel, participants have the best opportunity to get to know the MO space, style, and values.

SPECIFIC is open to the dancers aged 18 and over who desire to enter advanced professional training in contemporary dance and to expand their artistic, technical and performative background, getting ready to embark in the professional career.

bluebox is a dance program based in Vienna, Austria. It provides selected dancers with the unique opportunity to work directly with top notch artists and companies such as JA COLLECTIVE, AKIRA YOSHIDA, ALLEYNE DANCE, SOFIA NAPPI, FLOCK, ADI SCHWARZ and many others. This exposes them to the thinking and working methods used in today's and tomorrow's dance industry.

The annual program runs from October to May. Through carefully curated masterclasses, bluebox strives to facilitate the highest level of creative process and training. A company-like process lasts for one week, each week a new guest artist arrives.

In addition to bringing a strong sense of self-responsibility and communication to bluebox, candidates should be technically proficient, curious, and brave to pursue excellence in dance. It is mandatory to be (minimum) 18 years old by October 2025. There is no age limit. Considering the level at which the program is taught, selected dancers are expected to already have a movement background or dance education.

ABOUT THE PROGRAMS

YEAR-ROUND PROGRAMS:

Certificate Program

2-Years // Ages 17+

Peridance's Certificate Program is a two year post-secondary training program. Two tracks of study are available: Commercial and Ballet/Contemporary. Students will take 3-5 classes daily including theory classes and dance technique classes. The program includes performance opportunities and mentorship. International students study on an F-1 Visa with the chance to receive OPT following successful completion of the program.

MOPTOP Universal Professional Program

3-Months or 6-Months // Ages 18+ 

The 3-month / 6-month MOPTOP Universal Professional Program at Peridance Center provides students with a condensed and comprehensive learning experience within a guided and regimented street dance curriculum. The program is open for dancers of all levels ages 18+. Students learn with some of the leaders of the street and club dance scene in New York and culminates in a performance at Peridance Center's KnJ Theater.

Peridance Collective

9-Months // Ages 17-23 

Peridance Collective is a performance-based program for dancers between the ages of 17 and 23, which is designed to reflect the experience of being in a professional company. The program is structured to cultivate artistry through technical training, collaborative rehearsal process, and performance. 

Independent Study Program [NO AUDITION REQUIRED]

3-Month, 6-Month, 12-Month // Ages 17+ 

The Peridance Independent Study Program is a self-guided course of study designed and developed for both domestic and international students at different stages of their artistic and technical development. Students are admitted to the program at all levels of proficiency (Beginner through Advanced) and can begin studies on the first day of each month throughout the year. The Independent Study Program offers 18 hours of study a week, consisting of Open Classes and Program Specific Workshops. General Workshops can also be attended depending on availability and cost differences.

SUMMER PROGRAMS:

PCDC Summer Intensive

August 15-24, 2025 // Ages 17+ 

The PCDC Summer Intensive is 10 days of immersive training, creative process, and repertory performance. Participants will study with Artistic Director Igal Perry and renowned guest faculty members from PCDC repertoire in Ballet, Contemporary, and Repertory classes, among others. With a culminating performance at Peridance's KnJ Theater, the PCDC Intensive will enrich your artistic voice in an international community of dancers.

Teen Summer Intensive

June 30-July 12, 2025 // Ages 12-17

Peridance's Teen Summer Intensive is a 2-week comprehensive training program designed for dancers ages 12-17 to develop, increase, and strengthen their level of technique, self-confidence, and artistry. An experienced and knowledgeable faculty strongly emphasizes clean technique and self-discipline within a nurturing and supportive environment. This program emphasizes contemporary forms and is tailored to push dancers both technically and artistically. Students will study a variety of genres from renowned faculty and work with two fresh and upcoming choreographers in New York City. At the end of the two weeks, participants will demonstrate their work in a fully produced performance presented at Peridance's KnJ Theater.

Professional Dance Program in Barcelona

Our Professional Training Program starting September 2025 is an exclusive and comprehensive training program that combines Technical, Artistic and Psycho-emotional development subjects in dance.

The program is designed for dancers aged 17 to 23 years old with an international outlook and is aimed at attracting students and professional artists from all over the world.

• Daily Training: 6 hours
• Daily: Ballet and Contemporary Training
• Weekly: Improvisation, Composition, Rehearsals, Acting, Psycho-emotional Coaching, Pilates, Gyrokinesis, Yoga, Somatic Work, Pointe, Conditioning.
• Monthly: Workshops, Master classes and residences with International artists.
