The Innopraktika School is a unique opportunity to showcase and develop your talent. For the fifth consecutive year, the choreographic session, supported by the Innopraktika Foundation, will take place at The Boris Eifman Dance Academy. The mission of this session is to foster cultural exchange.

Corpo Mobile Festival 2025 - ITINERARI 8th Edition

The call for the young dance section of Corpo Mobile Festival 2025 – an itinerant choreographic platform that will be held in Rome in Municipality VII, over three weekends in May 2025 – is now open. Each day of the festival will feature a different location, creating unique routes on the urban map of the neighbourhood. Corpo Mobile is directed by Davide Romeo, with organisational direction by Eleonora Tempesta, in collaboration with the Uscite di Emergenza Dance Company. This eighth edition of Corpo Mobile aims to foster a dialogue between the body and the urban space we live in daily. The festival charts courses that traverse places with a one-to-one correspondence: theatre and open air, periphery and centre, socially prestigious spaces and communal places. The theatre brings us to life and life returns us to the theatre in a continuous journey. Through contemporary dance and performance, the concept of ITINERARIES is explored both physically and emotionally, allowing participants and the audience to traverse both tangible and intangible paths.

Definition of Itineraries: Derived from the Latin iter itineris ("route, journey, path"), it refers to the path to be followed to reach a destination, also in a metaphorical sense: setting or establishing the itinerary of a journey; embarking on a spiritual or intellectual voyage. ≈ path, route, journey, or course (for a ship or plane).

FESTIVAL SECTIONS

The festival is structured into various sections: Corpo in Scena (Body on Stage): theatre performances. Corpo all'Aperto (Body Outdoors): performances in outdoor urban spaces. Corpo in Formazione (Body in Training): workshops and labs. Corpo in Dialogo (Body in Dialogue): meetings and debates. Corpo in Itinere (Body En Route): call for choreographers and performance artists (the subject of this open call). Corpo in Video (Body in Video): a section dedicated to video-dance, this year’s novelty.

The Corpo Mobile Festival 2025 calls are exclusively aimed at artists and collectives under the age of 35. Dance Explosion XIV: an eagerly awaited and engaging event

The XIV edition of Dance Explosion confirms itself as one of the most eagerly awaited events in the artistic panorama, thanks to the direction of Marco Franceschetti. This event is not just a show, but a real emotional journey that blends technique, passion and energy.

The heart of the event is the Dance Explosion Competition, a competition that highlights emerging talents and dance professionals. The dancers compete on a stage that celebrates excellence and creativity in different styles: from modern to contemporary dance, from jazz to hip-hop.

For the third consecutive year, Equilibrio Dinamico ENSEMBLE, the educational collective of Equilibrio Dinamico, and VERVE, the postgraduate company of the Northern School of Contemporary Dance, Leeds, are offering an artistic project that combines creativity, research, and collaboration among young international dancers. 
This collaboration culminates in a joint performance featuring both collectives: over 30
dancers and a program signed by international choreographers, under the artistic direction of Matteo Marfoglia and Roberta Ferrara.
This year, Equilibrio Dinamico Ensemble focuses on the creation of an all-female triple bill, “Through Her Eyes”, celebrating the strength, vulnerability, and creativity of female
choreographers. The evening offers a reflection on the power of the female gaze through art.

The "Premio Libera Connessione" is a screendance competition launched as part of the cultural project “Fubine Porta di Cultura.” Its first edition will take place on the stage of “Colline in Movimento” at Colle Manora, Fubine Monferrato (AL).  The competition invites dancers, choreographers, artists, and creatives to create screendance works lasting up to 1 minute and 30 seconds, exploring the relationship between dance, landscape, territory, and the historical-social fabric.  Promoted by the Municipality of Fubine and Mayor Lino Pettazzi, in collaboration with Artistic Director Patrizia Campassi, the award focuses on a significant theme each year. For 2024/25, the theme is the territory and its most meaningful aspects. The winner will be announced on April 29, 2025, during World Dance Day, and will receive a prize of €1,000.

OPEN CALL! SOLOCOREOGRAFICO YOUTH - New Generation Lyon 2025

The call is open to young solo dancers (ages 12–17 and over 18 for dance students) for the youth program, taking place on February 1–2, 2025, in Lyon.

Artistic Director Raffaele Irace invites young dancers to participate in the internationally renowned event, Solocoreografico Solo Dance Festival. The event aims to discover new talent, who will perform at the International Solocoreografico Solo Dance Festival in Frankfurt, Germany, in autumn 2025.

The event provides a rich educational opportunity, including participation in five workshops, attendance at the professional performance on Saturday evening, and the chance to perform on stage during the youth showcase on Sunday afternoon.

This marks the second French edition of the Solocoreografico festival and will take place at Théâtre-studio aux Échappées Belles in Lyon, in collaboration with Compagnie Hallet-Eghayan | Artistes Associés, Lyon.
