Audition for Choreographer Internship
We have a last minute internship coming up for our performance project at Broedplaats Bogota in the Netherlands.
We are looking for recent graduates or students following a Master in Choreography, preferable living in the Netherlands. We are looking for a choreographer who is curious and interested in interdisciplinary performances and location projects, to create a performance with dancers and possibly with other artists at Broedplaats Bogota.
Rehearsals: 21 - 24 October
Extra Research: 28 - 31 October
Rehearsals: 4 - 8 November
Rehearsals: 11 - 13 November
First Performances: 14 - 15 November
Followed by 4 weeks of extra rehearsals or new creation.
Performance 13 and/or 14 December

BIENNALE DANZA 2025
Biennale Danza 2025 | International Call for a New Choreographic Creation
The Biennale di Venezia’s Dance Department promotes a multi-year programme aimed at supporting the production (or co-production) of new works by international choreographers or dance companies. In order to participate in the selection, it is necessary to propose an original choreographic project which has never premiered either in studio or full form.
The documentation to participate in the selection - which must be submitted no later than 20 October 2024 via an online application form - consists of a description of the artistic project in English (max. 1 A4 page, front only), specifying any partners and their contribution to the coproduction and the link to a video of 5-10 minutes max (which may include anything that can best express the concept of the project).
The selected project will be supported by the Foundation with a contribution of up to € 30,000.00. In addition to the production grant, La Biennale di Venezia will cover all the necessary costs for staging the premiere in Venice – from the artists’ fees to travel and lodging expenses and production specifications.
The performance will make its debut (world premiere) as part of the Biennale Danza 2025.

INTERNATIONAL DIGITAL DANCE COMPETITION
The International Digital Dance Competition is back!
Instasadance, founded by Salvatore Nicolosi with the support of a collective of dancers, aims to inspire and support the global dance community. We offer opportunities to explore, move, and learn through workshops, events, competitions, and financial support.
Salvatore Nicolosi and Alekseij Canepa invite all dance artists to join them in a creative journey. They will teach you an original choreography, which you can film with your own choice of music, location, and editing. This gives you a chance to win a financial award, dance residency, or scholarship.

KSEIJ DANCE COMPANY
Kseij Dance Company, an emerging youth contemporary dance project company, based in Genoa (IT), and the Artistic Director Alekseij Canepa, are looking for a young choreographer to create a new piece to be included in the repertoire of the company.
Only applications from choreographers aged between 18 and 35 will be accepted.
Each candidate can submit a single choreography project (existing or new).
The artist must be able to present, in addition to the artistic idea and the creative imagination, a concrete vision indicating the development of the creative and production process of his own choreographic idea.
Required duration of the choreography: about 15 \ 20 minutes.
With regard to the project to be developed during the residency period, the selected choreographer will also be able to have artistic consultancy and support in all the stages of setting
up the project that will lead him to his debut in the theater.
The period of creative residency will be agreed with the winning choreographer of the call.
The selected choreographer will get:
- A cash prize of € 400.00
- Coverage of travel, board and lodging costs in Genoa during the creation period
- Possibility to hold (unpaid) a workshop in Genoa, Italy

•Description of the Project: The first edition of the Libera Connessione Award was born in collaboration with the municipality of Fubine Monferrato and its Mayor Lino Pettazzi. The idea is to want to combine the art of dance with that of the camera, enhancing the territory and uniting them, thus creating videodance works. KUTE Call for Choreographers
The goal of Loris Petrillo’s project, organized by Anonima Teatriwithin NotAcademy, in
collaboration with Twain Centro Produzione Danza, is to select 2 choreographers:
– minimum age 28
– living in Italy or abroad
– with proven experience as dancers in contemporary dance companies
– and at least 1 choreographic work.
They will be offered the opportunity to create a new project.
The project will be realized with the dancers of the international advanced dance program
SPECIFIC Athletic and Artistic Training for Contemporary Dancers, directed by Loris Petrillo.
This year, the dancers come from India, France, Portugal, Chile, Israel, Brazil, Italy, UK, Canada, USA, Switzerland, Russia, Poland and Spain.
Selected choreographers will receive a fee, accommodation, and travel expenses coverage.

INNOPRAKTIKA SCHOOL
Join the Innopraktika school in 2024!
Innopraktika School is a unique opportunity to present and develop your talent. For the 4th year, the choreographic session with the support of the Innopraktika Foundation will be held at The Boris Eifman Dance Academy. The purpose and mission of the session are cultural exchange.
The grant covers all expenses: accommodation (4* hotel in the city centre), full board, visa, travel costs, the cultural and training program.
What we offer:

- You will create your performance with the students of the Boris Eifman Academy from last year (17-18 years old) who have the appropriate training in classical and contemporary dance.

- Prepare one or two performances of 5-6 minutes for GALA.
Three weeks include an effective training program:

Hours of rehearsals - 45 h
In the free evenings, we ordered a rich cultural program: visits to ballet theatres in St.Petersburg, exhibitions and museums. In the previous year, the participants visited the Hermitage Museum, the Mariinsky, the Mikhailovsky Theatre, etc. All of these activities are funded by a grant.
The only costs incurred by participants are insurance and pocket money.
