Tell us about your dance studies

I started to study at 5 years old in my home town.
I started with modern jazz and two years later I approached to classical ballet.
When I was 10 years old I started to study at Opera di Roma ballet school, where I graduated in 2010.

Tell us your normal day in Teatro alla Scala in Milan

We star at 10 am with ballet class.
After the ballet class we start the rehearsals from 11.25 to 17.30 . The plan changes when we have show in the night, because we start at 10 with class, and we rehearse until 13.40,  after rehearsal we have a stop and we came back to the theatre one hour and half before the performance.

Do you have a favorite repertoire to dance?

We have so much Nureyev’s repertoire, it’s very difficult but I love to dance it because the principal man has many solos, not only variations but also beautiful adagio that I enjoy so much. I love also the repertoire of 20th century, like mc millan, noimaier and all narratives ballet

What was the most challenging role to dance until now?

I think Nureyev’s sleeping beauty.

With which choreographer would you like to work with?

I love so much Forsythe

How do you keep fit?

I try to eat healthy, because our body is our instrument, I’m vegetarian but I don’t follow a diet. And I do extra exercise to have a strong muscles

What do you think about the Italian dance scene?

It’s a disaster. In Italy we have the most beautiful theatre , we have so many talented dancers, but we don’t have many ballet company, and this is so dangerous.

Some of my colleagues founded a movement “Danza Error System” to found to save this bed situation in Italy.

What do you suggest to the young dancers?

I suggest to young generation to follow their passion, it’s not always simple but the passion and the hard work give you a result, always.

What are you doing when you are not working?

I love to enjoyed the life.
