Tell us about your dance studies

I studied in Mexico until I was 13 years old, then at 14/15 years old went to the National ballet school of Cuba Fernando Alonso in La Havana for a year, at 15 I got a scholarship to Princesses Grace in Monaco and graduated at 18 years old

Tell us about your experience at the Youth American grand Prix

It was a dream come true, I never thought I was gonna be able to go because of my financial situation growing up, it was too expensive for my family to go all the way from Mexico, having my family with me in New York and watch me dance was so special, making one of my goals come true, winning first place and many scholarships around the world was just something never thought would happen

You are also going to start your own dancewear, how it came this idea?

I always dreamed of having my own brand, I always believed that dancewear should be comfortable and affordable, there is no many ballet brands for men and I wanted to make the difference to have a brand that works in a fashion and affordable way, coming this summer

Do you have a favourite repertoire?

I have quite a few, but few of them is Don Quixote, Romeo and Juliet and Swan lake

Do you have a favourite dance role?

One of them is Romeo for the fact that is not only hard technically but artistically, is such a complicated role because of the connection with your partner and the drama of the play, another favorite role is Basilio for the story my family has, my dad and big part of my family were bullfighters so all this Spanish story makes me think of my family

What is your dream for the future?

One of my dreams is to be able to share what I know with the world, dance around the world to also share my passion for this art and meet people in different companies, and dance in the biggest companies

Give an advice to young aspiring dancers

To always follow your dreams, to not be scared to fight for your dreams, I had to leave my family very young to follow my dream so I know everything is possible if we want it enough!

What are you doing when you are not working?

Most of the time I like to see different places or cities, I like cooking a lot, sometimes just rest from the hard week or call my family
