Tell us about your dance studies
I started dancing when I was 13, I was kind of a late starter but I just absolutely loved it from the very first class.
Time was flying when I was in the dance studio, 5 hours felt like 5 minutes.
I used to take classes of ballet, contemporary and hip hop.
I started taking it more seriously when I moved to Zurich, I was 16 years old.
I then graduated from Tanz Akademie Zurich after 3 years.
Tell us about your experience at Ballet Zurich.
After graduating I joined ballet Zurich and worked there for 4 years.
I had a relatively good time there, performed works from worldwide famous choreographers and had the chance to work personally with them.
Ballet Zurich hugely impacted me and helped me grow as an artist and a person.
Do you have a favourite choreographer?
I have many favorite choreographers from William Forsythe to Marcos Morau, I love Crystal Pite and my absolute favorite has to be Marco Goeke.
How do you keep in shape?
I try to exercise in my free time and I try not to eat junk food too often.
Now you are in Paris, what are you doing there?
I’ve been shooting a new amazon prime tv show which I’m pretty sure will come out in 2025! It was a cool and different experience and it allowed me to meet some fantastic friends and artists that have definitely enriched my journey.
Do you have any dreams?
Professionally talking I dream of dancing on stage for a live audience again.
In my personal life my dream is to create a family.
You have many followers on Instagram, how important is the platform for you?
Growing up I used to be very popular on Instagram because of my flexibility and it became almost a sick obsession for me. I had to take a big step back from it at one point to protect my mental health. I definitely don’t take it as seriously anymore. I still get good opportunities from it and enjoy it a lot more now.
What do you think about the italian dance scene?
I have been dancing abroad since I was 16 so I only get “updates” from my friends who dance there.
I think it’s unfortunately overlooked and underpaid even though Italy is full of incredible dance artists.
Tell us a curiosity about you
I sing when I’m happy even if I can’t really sing.
You are also modelling, what do you like from it?
I honestly just like being in front of the camera and I think when I’m older I’ll be happy to look back at my younger self.
I also just like to create art through images and I’m lucky to know and to have worked with some amazing photographers who have mastered their ability to do so.
