Tell us about your dance studies
I started my studies when I was really a kid.
Around 5 till 8 I was studying in an amateur school of my village like every kids do.
At 8 y.o. however I started my professional journey at Accademia Ucraina di Balletto till 17 y.o.
Actually I was the only one to have started before others talking about age.. normally people graduate from 18 y.o.
Tell us about your experience at the Prix de Lausanne
I have to say that it was the first experience of my life so important.
It was the first time that I was with so many talented young people and everyone with the same goal. By the way it was really hard and challenging but it allowed me to understand how is important to believe in myself and to show how I am for the first time. Moreover Prix de Lausanne make me the possibility also to go to YAGP.
Tell us about your experience in the tv program "Amici"
Well.. what can I say.. Amici is Amici, a very big reality.
It wasn’t so easy for me to stay under the cameras every day and every hours plus it was hard to not be in touch with my family when I really felt to call them.
Anyway I think that Amici can be a big possibility for everyone to show who you really are. It’s challenging, full of feelings.
But I have to say that Amici is completely different from Ballet reality..
How was your experience in USA with Atlanta Ballet and Tulsa ballet?
Atlanta Ballet was my first professional experience (job).
I was 18 y.o. and I was living in a city completely different from where I was born from every point of view.
I remember now Atlanta with a big smile because it was a nice experience.
On the contrary I really believe that young talents don’t need to escape from Italy to have the chance to dance, work and live so that’s why I decided to come back.
Now you are at the Opera Theater in Rome, how is it going?
Opera of Rome is one of the best part of my life. It makes me understand for real that there’s the possibility to be in Italy and do what I really want. What can I say? I’m lucky and honoured to be here.
Do you have a favourite repertoire?
It’s hard I have to say but I choose as favourite repertoire the variation of “Le Corsaire”
Do you have a favourite dance role?
My favourite dance role is the Jester from “Swan Lake”
Give an advice to young aspiring dancers
Believe first of all in yourself always. Listen about your feelings and what you really want.
Create goals and fight to reach them.
What are you doing when you are not working?
It depends on how was my working day.
If it was intense maybe I come back home, I clean a bit, I start to watch a movie, I cook (because I love). In other words, I try to chill and to taking care of me and my house.
On the other side if it is “chill” or I am not super tired, I really like to go to gym, to explore always something new, to go out with friends to drink a coffee or to do Aperitivo.
